BeaconLive has launched a new investor relations division as the audio and web conferencing company looks to break into new markets.
The firm, founded in 2007, has built its business delivering webinars, webcasts and audio services to the legal and association industries. In addition, it started a new healthcare division earlier this year.
The official launch of the ‘full service’ IR offering comes several months after BeaconLive first hired two regional sales directors to focus on the IR market.
Hugh Stein, a former account manager at InterCall and sales manager at ACT Conferencing, joined BeaconLive at the start of 2012. Based in New York, he is responsible for IR clients in the north east of the US.
Les Baron, who also arrived at the start of the year, is looking after the West Coast market for BeaconLive. His career includes previous roles at AVI-SPL, IVCi, ACT Conferencing and Nextel Communications.
At this early stage, BeaconLive is working with ‘a handful’ of IR customers, while new clients are coming on board all the time, according to vice president of sales and marketing Scott Bradshaw.
‘Our full service, white glove approach to executing events is a perfect match for the IR community,’ he says.
