James is overseeing the editorial output of IR Insight, the research arm of IR magazine, which produces the investor perception studies in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Prior to this, James worked in various writing, research and editorial positions, most recently for a business and legal publisher and a London-based architecture firm. Notable projects he has worked on include the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Report in Europe and the US, and the Eversheds Board Report, a global study of the leading publicly listed companies.
He is a qualified solicitor and has practiced for a leading international law firm in London and Singapore.
Kathleen has been a journalist for the past 23 years. During that time she has written and edited for the Financial Times, Sunday Times, Independent on Sunday, Observer, MoneyUnlimited.com (a Guardian website) and various personal finance, consumer rights and property magazines.
Kathleen is a former deputy editor of Moneywise, the UK's biggest-selling personal finance magazine, and former editor of consumer finance magazine Save Money!. She has also been a regular guest on Radio 4's You & Yours and Channel 5's Serious Money.
Tim has been a London-based correspondent for IR magazine since August 2007. He joined Cross Border soon after graduating from York University, where he studied English and related literature for three years.
During his time at York, Tim wrote for both Nouse and Vision, the university's rival campus newspapers.
Neil Stewart is editor-at-large of IR magazine, a global business magazine covering corporate finance and related issues for investor relations professionals, CFOs, CEOs and other corporate executives.
Between 2000 and 2010, Neil was variously IR magazine’s London-based editor-in-chief; a contributing editor in Asia, Africa and Australia; and most recently executive editor based in New York. He first joined IR magazine as North American editor in 1996.
As editorial director of Cross Border, IR magazine’s parent company, Neil oversaw the research for the IR Magazine Awards in the US and Canada from 1998 to 2010. In 2002 he was editor-in-chief for the launch of Corporate Secretary, a monthly journal for corporate secretaries, general counsel and corporate governance officers.
Neil has chaired or spoken at more than 50 conferences, awards, think tank seminars and other events around the world during his 17 years as a business journalist.
